Programs

Our Lessons

At Little Lemons Sports Inc., we believe that learning should feel joyful, empowering, and full of discovery. Our skating programs are built on the idea that confidence grows when children feel supported, challenged at the right pace, and encouraged to explore what their bodies can do on the ice. Just like a perfect glass of lemonade, our approach blends fun with skill development, because we know kids learn best when they’re smiling.

Our programs follow the natural progression of early skating development and are thoughtfully designed for children of varying ages, abilities, and comfort levels. Each level focuses on three core pillars of movement:

 🍋Stability

Helping little skaters feel steady, safe, and confident on their blades.

🍋 Composure

Introducing purposeful movement, coordination, and foundational skating skills.

🍋 Quickness

Building speed, power, and readiness for more advanced skating or sport pathways.

By the end of each program, our Little Lemons graduate with a well‑rounded set of skills that support not only skating, but overall physical literacy. All programs run in 6-week sessions, with 30 ‑ 40 minute lessons, offered at various times throughout the year to accommodate busy family schedules. Skating is a lifelong sport that teaches far more than technique. Patience, participation, perseverance, and pride are just a few of the values children naturally develop on the ice. Whether your child is stepping onto the rink for the very first time or continuing to grow their abilities, every Little Lemon leaves with something meaningful,  new skills, new confidence, and memories that last.

Welcome to Little Lemons Sports Inc., where every child can shine, grow, and discover their spark on the ice.

Group Lessons.

No matter your little one’s ability, there is a level for them! If you have any questions or concerns about what level your little skater should be going into feel free to contact us at any time and we will be more than happy to help.

First Wiggles

Uniquely designed for children aged 3 to 5 years, the First Wiggles program introduces skating to young children in a fun, group environment. Each skater will build confidence in their on ice capabilities, and in themselves, through enjoyable activities and games in a positive environment. Little Lemons Safety Reminders

At Little Lemons we take the safety of our skaters very seriously. Ensuring that our skaters understand how to keep themselves and others safe is of utmost importance, and we begin teaching safe and positive skating habits from their first day on the ice. However, we also need your help as a parent to make sure that your little skaters understand and respect the rules, and are prepared and ready to help our classes run smoothly.

          Parent's Safety Checklist

Before each lesson skaters (with the help of parents) should:

          1. Be at the gate on time so that the instructor can lead each child one by one to the ice (keep in mind we only have 30-minute sessions).
          2. Check that skates are sharp and laced up properly.
          3. Be wearing gloves, long pants or tights, and a light sweater or jacket.
          4. Ensure that their helmet is certified.
          Little Lemon's Safety Checklist

Throughout every lesson, our coaches do their best to ensure your little skater’s safety. Our instructors are experienced at encouraging children of varying ages to practice safe skating habits and preventing collisions during lessons. Some of the precautions Little Lemons’ coaches take to protect our skaters are:

          1. Name tags are given out during the first session and are skaters are required to wear them to identify the child.
          2. On the ice, our instructors explain the importance of being cautious with blades and toe picks to avoid the danger of running over fingers.
          3. Constant reminders will be given during lessons to form safe habits in the skaters when practicing unsafe behaviour.
